Program for Le Carrousel, 40 rue du Colisée, Paris. 25 x 20 cm, card covers, cerise front cover with white embossed picture of a female centaur, gilt knight chess pieces, lettering in white. pp (32), unpaged. Le Carrousel, a cabaret featuring transsexuals, was located in the rue du Colisée 1947-61. In its prime it was one of the most expensive nightclubs in Paris. Photos (with many cameo photos of their male selves in one corner) of drag queens Coccinelle, Audrey, Capucine, Fétiche, Karina, Bambi, Maslowa, Les-Lee, Dominique, Hula, and many others. Fine copy.

Retains her original nine drawings and adds two others. NIGHTWOOD was number 12 on a list of the top 100 gay books compiled by The Publishing Triangle in 1999.
