Quarto, khaki cloth. (3) - (120) pp. Numerous photos in text, some tipped onto khaki card leaves. Xmas, 1915, ink gift inscription at from from "Tommie", with the B.E.F. in France. Small slip laid in which he states that the officer dressed up as a sister was Major Dillon, of his unit, and that the majority of the boat pictures were taken from his unit's boat The Francona. Some light offset yellowing, soft corner bump to front cover; else fine. In the uncommon dust jacket, which has partial splits to the spine folds, chip at head of spine, small chip and tear to lower front panel; small tears to outer corners; generally VG otherwise, now protect with plastic. Letters from the front, articles, poems (two by Frederick George Scott) pertaining to the Canadian Army in France during World War I. Published as a fund raiser, this copy without the promotional flyer sometimes found laid in.
